Sheer Curtains and Plantation Shutters in Portola Springs, Irvine
See an Irvine project pairing sheer curtains in a high-ceiling living room with white plantation shutters on grouped bedroom windows in Portola Springs.
Project Overview
This Portola Springs home in Irvine pairs sheer curtains in the main living space with white plantation shutters in the bedroom. The living-room photograph shows light-colored sheers across a wide opening below the upper windows of a high-ceiling space. In the photographed scene, the fabric softens the daylight and adds a continuous vertical line behind the sofa.
The bedroom photograph and walkthrough show plantation shutters on a group of windows arranged around a corner. The two settings illustrate a room-by-room approach: flowing fabric across the living-room opening and framed shutters around the bedroom windows. Each treatment has a different visual character while keeping the overall palette light.
